Insulin-dependent diabetes, Type I

This type of diabetes is caused by pancreas defeat - the insulin producing organ.

Insulin in these cases is absent in blood serum or it is found out in minimal quantities. This type of diabetes usually develops at young age and requires in insulin introduction to the body cells from the outside.

This type of diabetes affects 10-15 % of all diabetes patients. The others - are, most probably, suffer from diabetes of II type.

Non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, Type II

In this case, the pancreas works normally, insulin level in blood serum is normal or raised, but despite this, glucose still does not penetrate into the cells.  

That is, when for unknown reason, the cell “keyhole”, does not allow a key-insulin, to open the “door” for glucose delivery into the cell.

Sometimes, insulin is produced in insufficient quantity or inappropriate quality. In any case, glucose level increase in blood is observed. Unlike a diabetes of I type,  the cell glucose acquirement varies in different kinds of cells, therefore the severity of the symptoms is lower  and the patient, most probably, does not  suspect about the disease for a  long  time .

Traditional treatment for diabetic patients includes a low-carbohydrate diet and insulin resistance correction, using oral pills.

Sometimes, in cases of an exhaustion of a pancreas, insulin injection is prescribed.

 Case 1 - male, 46 years old

 Has admitted to the ER with diagnosis: CVA. DIPLOPIA. ARTERIAL HYPERTESION. DM - TYPE-2. CRF.

 Blood analyses on admission : B/P - 212/100, the glucose maintenance - 327mmol/L, HbA1C - 11.6 %, creatinine - 1.6mg/dl.

The subsequent analyses have confirmed the presence of a diabetes Type II undiagnosed at least within a year prior hospitalization.

Within 2 weeks has been discharged from a hospital with the following therapy:

NORVASC 10mgx1/D. TRITACE 5mgx1/D. PLAVIX 75mgx1/D. SIMOVIL 20mgx1/D. INSUILN LANTUS 14units. NOVONORM 1mgx3/D. NORMALOL 12.5mgx1/D.

After discharge although prescribed therapy , glucose blood level remained 160-170mmol/L, within 2 days , a method «Emperor Chronopuncture» procedures were set up – using the program «Preventive maintenance and diabetes treatment» are connected.

Measurements of glucose blood level have been taken twice a day, also arterial pressure measurements.

In 2 weeks blood glucose levels has been stabilized on 120-140mmol/L, arterial pressure 135/85.

Continuing the control of blood glucose level, insulin therapy has been stopped by the physician.

In a week – oral hypoglycemic have been used only once a day (in the morning)

After a month of application of the program «Emperor Chronopuncture» - completely discontinuation of oral hypoglycemic.

After 3 months of program utilization, blood glucose levels were stable within 105-115mmol/L in the morning and 90-100mmol/L in the evening.

In 2 months, considering stability of sugar level has been discharged from endocrinologist observation, keep proceeding the application of «Emperor Chronopuncture» method.

Case 2 – male, 73 years old

Known as  NIDDM patient for 13 years. 4  last years, Insulin (SC) therapy was applied , despite treatment and low carbohydrate diet, the glucose blood level was unstable,  in addition , even slightest deviation from a treatment regimen has led to glucose level elevation up to 300mmol/L.

Also in last year, an elevation of blood creatinine level has been recorded up to 2.8mg/dl.

A method of «Emperor Chronopuncture» have been suggested and applied by the patient for 4 months.

A  significant  improvement  of subjective general condition, has been recorded , lowering of creatinine  levels down to 1.4mg/dl, which led to insulin dose reduction down to 6 units in the morning and to 8 units in the evening, blood glucose level showed stability, reaching 110-125mmol/L.
